This confidence derives first of all from the decentral character of the website. Having the possibility for users to suggest pages or events makes the website ever more informative and full of original content. Also, instead of one central company or organisation making and planning from afar, this website gives the freedom to the knowledgeable local Tourism Offices. They are free to add events and pages and can maintain these pages as local situations change.

Secondly, this website allows for a community of new locals to contribute to a stronger commitment to the region and each other, simply by helping each other out. What group better to represent tourism to Beira Baixa and it’s beauty than those that not only came to seek it out, but will also cultivate this through links to their original region?

Lastly, you have the freedom to edit and update the text of your personal page at anytime in the event of new opening hours, directions or other information you would like to change simply by logging in. For the successful larger companies it allows for contributing to the Beira Baixa touristic experience to flourish, that in turn helps us all.

Accommodation: All accommodations that are listed on ecobnb, have a Green Key certificate or are convincingly similar minded.
Culture: All historic buildings, heritage, museums, arts and crafts that are non-commercial.
